Surveys sent (Mercury-only backers)

Just a quick note to mention that BackerKit surveys have been sent out to anyone who has backed a tier that includes only Mercury decks (not full sets). If you haven't completed your survey yet, please check your email for a message from BackerKit (and check your spam as well, just in case).
It is important that you complete your survey if you want to receive your decks! This includes verifying your shipping address, which of course I will need in order to send you a package. I'm still waiting for 175 people to complete their BackerKit surveys.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Venus concept art + backer surveys

Hey everyone! I have a few items to update you on...
Kickstarter funds have finally transferred! The Mercury decks are on the USPC production schedule and the tuckboxes are scheduled for production at Clove St Press. At the moment, it looks like we're still on schedule to start shipping decks out in December, as expected.
You will receive an email soon from BackerKit directing you to complete your backer survey. This includes confirming your mailing address, selecting add-ons (if any), and answering a few quick questions that will be helpful to me in planning future campaigns.
If your Kickstarter payment failed for any reason, you will still receive a survey email and you'll have the opportunity to add payment information through BackerKit.
Important note: If you ordered a full 8-deck series of The Planets (LE and/or SE), you will NOT receive a survey email until after all 8 Kickstarter campaigns are completed (around August of next year).
Venus: First Look
As some (many?) of you may be aware, there is a playing card discussion forum called United Cardists where card enthusiasts talk about pretty much every deck of playing cards in existence. Back in February, I created a thread that now contains all the discussion that took place during the development of the Mercury deck. I just added an image from Srdjan of a concept for the Venusian court cards.
I invite you all to keep an eye on this discussion thread for more updates of art development and feel free to join in and share any ideas/feedback you have as well.
Please let me know if you have any questions by sending a Kickstarter message or direct email to firstname.lastname@example.org
7 hours left: $70,000! + LE decks available + holographic foil

Last night we cleared $70,000 in funding—woohoo! Thank you all so much for your support and love for this project!
There are a few LE tier spots still up for grabs including 1 spot at $140 (2 LE decks + a brick of SE decks) and 4 LE1+ tier spots for a complete set of LE & SE decks (this tier is now open to ALL BACKERS...you do not have to already be a LE tier backer).
Last piece of exciting news...
As I mentioned in the live stream yesterday (you can watch the replay here), I discovered recently when confirming with Clove St that the prototypes featured in all the campaign photos are actually using regular metallic foil. The final decks will be using holographic metallic foil (which is even more amazing looking). View the video for more details on this.
SHARE SHARE SHARE! This is the final push for the project so please post links on Facebook, Instagram, or other social media and let's try to get a few more people excited about joining in the fun!

As always, thank you again for making the project possible! -David

LE sets released for backing
Okay guys, the upgrade period has ended and there are a few spots available to grab a full LE set. At the moment there are 17 spots in the LE1+ tier (1 full set of LE & SE decks) and 2 spots in the LE2+ tier (2 full sets of LE & SE decks). All backers are now approved to back these tiers (you do not need to be a current LE tier backer). These won't last long so act quickly!
Prototype demo on live stream
This Saturday at 10:30am PST (approximately 48 hours from now), I will be hosting a live stream on Kickstarter to show you how cool these tuckboxes look when they're shimmering in the light. I also have an uncut proof sheet from USPC of the deck and it looks awesome. I will answer any questions you share on the chat during the stream as well. Mark your calendars to come join the event and please share this link with your friends on social media.

Single LE backers: upgrade to full LE set! + Double Black deck

Today I have good news for many of you:
I've been listening to requests from many people and am happy to announce that if you are currently a backer of either the $30 tier (1LE + 1SE) or the $59 tier (2LE + 2SE), you now have the option to upgrade to full LE sets of all 8 planet decks.
Please read these important details:
- If you are a 1LE + 1SE backer you can only upgrade to the LE1+ tier ($230). If you are a 2LE+2SE backer you can only upgrade to the LE2+ tier ($440).
- Make sure you read the specific details in the new tier (shipping cost is not included in the pledge & you are scheduled to receive the decks in December 2018).
- I have a list of current backers in both tiers mentioned above. I will be auditing all backers who sign up for the new tier to make sure they are eligible (must have already been signed up for an LE tier).
- The upgrade tiers will be available until 9/29 when they will be locked down a couple days before the campaign ends.
- The $30 and $59 tiers are now locked to prevent new backers from taking open spots. They will be unlocked after the upgrade tiers are locked to allow any last minute cancellations / sign-ups in the final couple days. No additional LE decks will be made available.
Please contact me with any questions.
Also, a quick mention about another cool playing card Kickstarter that's running right now: Bicycle Double Black Classic Playing Cards. They are very slick looking and even have a waterproof version.
As always, thank you for your support! -David
